I painted this poppy in remembrance of all the brave, past and present.

Hi Mad Stu, Thanks for reply, Yes I always buy a poppy at the start of November, Apart from that I am the official keeper of my village War memorial which entails each year at the start of Nov the complete cleaning of the monument (it's a big one) and any repairs if required. I undertake this work out of total respect for the brave lads of my village who gave their lives. No money changes hands and never will. Regards Jonathan.

I have to buy a new one every day during that period. I'm a despatch rider so I wear it on the outside of all my kit, and by the end of the day I've usually only got a plastic green stem left. :roll:
