The thing I do not understand with the DVLA is why this process is so complicated, it is a motorbike, engine/frame number and receipt show it is not stolen. So it is now an OBJECT taxable by the government of the day and a source of income but they still make you jump thru hoops to make it an asset for them
I looked into road registering a CRF 230 on the road but some bizzare law says a trail bike has to have a seat height of at least a certain height and the CRF is about 2mm too short, so you have to either give up or lie or get lucky on the day with a less knowledgeable member of staff to register.
Why is this process decided by people who have never ridden a motorbike and would be hard pressed to see the difference between a CRF 230, MT500 or a FIREBLADE
